Where in the world is Claire going next?? CAMBODIA. She will be there for two weeks with a medical team doing health care and dental clinics in various villages around Cambodia. This is an amazing opportunity to understand the culture more dynamically as well as a chance for Claire to put her hands and feet in line with Jesus' call to serve the poor are marginalized. She needs mega financial help in this area, however. Claire is about halfway to her goal of raising $2,500 in support. Prayerfully consider joining her team of supporters and this chance to walk through this experience hand-in-hand with her. For your convenience, there is a Paypal link at the bottom of this page. YOU CAN FIGHT AGAINST INJUSTICE!!
STEP ONE: LOOK AROUND THIS WEBSITE Be educated! There is some great information about Social Justice, Claire's cause, and how you can get involved!
STEP TWO: CONTACT CLAIRE Encouragement is vital in this area of missions. Claire would love to hear your opinions, ideas, and thoughts on issues such as fighting human trafficking, sustainable community development, restorative justice, and missions. Although Claire is unable to facilitate the I heart love t-shirt sale while she is overseas, you can still easily and conveniently donate to this cause by going to the "How You Can Help" tab - on left - or by making a donation through PayPal. STEP THREE: TELL YOUR FRIENDS! Tell everyone you know about this cause - spread the word to your friends by holding a house party and presenting these issues, or planning a movie night to watch the movie Taken, Human Trafficking, or Born into Brothels, then hold a discussion time afterwards. Look for coffee shops that only sell fairly traded coffee, or clothing stores that support community development organizations by selling fairly-made clothing. These may seem like little things, but they add up!
